CHLITINA

Extremely popular on the Chinese Mainland, this Taiwanese cosmetics company’s name is derived from the English name ‘Christina’. Unfortunately the result, 'Chlitina’ does not come out well in English (having pink as their company color doesn’t help either). Expect a name change before they assault the Western market.

（Note to Chinese readers: Chlitina的Chlit的声音跟clit一样。clit是“阴蒂”的意思，非常不客气的意思。只有A片那样电影用的。）

Perhaps because they realized this embarrassing problem, Chlitina goes to great lengths to stress that the name is also an abbreviation that spells out the company’s core values:
